Open Traditional Tournament
When: October 15th, 2011
Registration and weapons checks start at 9 am
Black Belt Meeting and first instructions start at 10 am
Overview: This is the third tournament hosted by Mankato Martial Arts at its new location. All styles are welcome.

Traditional Forms (weapons and empty hand)
Point Sparring
Grappling
Breaking
Team Kata
There will be no Musical Forms or XMA Style Forms, Weapons will need to meet AAU Weight and Size Requirements. Sparing Rules will also follow the AAU format. Judges will be representing multiple dojos and styles. Registration is only $25 for the first event and $10 for each additional event. The spectator fee is just $1 for adults and is free for children 12 or under.
Divisions will be set based on age and rank for forms. Instructors 5th Dan and higher will be asked to perform forms representative of their style in a special demonstration rather than compete. For adult sparing there will also be divisions for weight and gender.
