It's likely that most people wouldn't hear "MMA fighter" and picture a 5 foot 6 mother of three. But when raising three boys and working as an EMT managed to become too routine, Christine Jobe found herself a hobby — in the form of Thai kickboxing. After only 7 months of training, Christine used her Muay Thai skills to make the transition into mixed martial arts. Now, with just two years of experience and 5 fights under her belt, Christine has already established herself as a solid competitor and earned a spot amongst Minnesota's top ten female fighters.
Perhaps someday Christine will find a more traditional hobby, like scrap booking or crochet. But for now, she's perfectly happy with punching and kicking her way up the women's MMA ladder.
